Hat size guide for men and women
Hat size
We'll show you how to determine your hat size. Our size chart will help you.
To determine your size, first measure the circumference of your head. You'll need a tape measure and a mirror. Take the tape measure and place it at the nape of your neck; then, bring it forward on both sides, passing slightly above your ears, above your eyebrows, and roughly at the center of your forehead. This ensures that the tape measure isn't too tight. Read your head circumference in the mirror: we recommend rounding up to the nearest whole number (e.g., 57.5 cm becomes 58 cm). If you want a slightly loose-fitting hat, cap, or bonnet that falls over your face, add 1 cm to the measurement. Ladies, remember to comb their hair straight back (as shown in the image) before taking measurements.
Here's a tip: if you don't have a tape measure, you can use a piece of ribbon or string instead and then check the measurement against a tape measure. Again, it's a good idea to round up the measurement, as a hat that's too tight can cause headaches. If your hat is a little too loose, you can correct it with two cork inserts, which we always provide with all the necessary caps.
